Local heating network | Memmingen
energy efficient and environmentally friendly
The central energy generation in the local heating network is a sustainable model and ensures highest efficiency as well as flexibility for the consideration of future innovations.
In local heating generation, environmentally friendly heat is centrally generated from domestic biomass at the Memmingen heating plant.
The local heating network substitutes 1 million litres of heating oil per year. This corresponds to an emission saving of 2 million kilograms of CO2 per year.
The heat is transported by means of hot water via an insulated and buried pipe system to the transfer station at the user.
