Heat supply Notzingen
In future, the municipality of Notzingen will rely on sustainable heat from a local heating network, which will supply the gymnasium, the new fire station, the community hall and the elementary school with energy.
As part of the Notzingen heat supply project, the existing boiler room in the municipality’s gymnasium, which dates back to 1998, underwent a complete refurbishment. Various old systems were removed and disposed of, including a 250 kW oil boiler and an oil tank with a capacity of 23,500 liters. The control technology and electrical systems were also replaced.
The new installation included two biomass boilers from Hargassner, each with an output of 200 kW for burning wood chips and pellets, as well as three buffer storage tanks, each with a capacity of 4,000 liters. In addition, a solar thermal system from Viessmann with an area of 45 m² was integrated, as was a pressure maintenance system. The control technology, switch cabinet construction and electrical installation in the boiler room were also carried out professionally.
In addition, a chimney system was installed, the existing heating distribution system was renovated and extensive insulation and fire protection work was carried out. These measures also serve as the basis for the planned local heating network, which will connect the elementary school, the community hall and the fire station.
