Long-term partnership

For more than 20 years the Alois Müller Group has been working successfully with the GROB family business from Mindelheim. Since 2009, GROB-WERKE, as a trendsetting pioneer in the construction of highly innovative production and automation systems, has been continuously expanding its production areas and always relies on the long-term partnership in the field of energy and building technology. Among other things, a local heating supply with a route length of 1.5 km was created for the halls in the entire South area.

• 2011: Hall 9 Universal machines (22,000 m²)
• 2013: Logistics hall 10 (14,000 m²)
• 2014: Hall 11 process commissioning mechanics/electrics (15,600 m²) and training center H12 (5,200 m²)
• 2016: Administration building B6 (23,000 m²)
• 2017: Assembly hall 13 (37,785 m²)

With the completion of the administration building B6 and the assembly hall 13, the location in Mindelheim has grown to more than 180,000 m² and this in an energy efficient and sustainable way. For the office building B6 we were responsible for the complete technical center of the trades heating, ventilation, sanitary and air conditioning. Most recently, the cooling of the building by means of well cooling as well as the ventilation in hall 13 was realized.

• Cold and heat supply with 2 heat pumps with 660 kW each and absorber for cold 290 kW
• Heating and cooling ceilings approx. 14,000 m² and 270 heating and cooling convectors
• Ventilation for the entire office building 70,000 m³/h, canteen 23,000 m³/h, kitchen 34,000 m³/h and staff rooms 15,000 m³/h air capacity
• Mechanical smoke extraction system for staircases
