New production area
The high-tech company TRUMPF, one of the world’s leading companies for machine tools, lasers as well as electronics, continues to invest in the expansion of its location in Ditzingen.
The new building consists of three connected production buildings. Two buildings house clean rooms for the manufacture of metal optics, laser beam sources and components for microchip production, while the third hall is used for machine assembly. Each building has its own technical control center assigned to it. The newly planned buildings are divided into a total of five levels.
The professionals of Alois Müller GmbH were responsible for the execution of the complete sanitary engineering as well as the technical gases for the project.
Each building received several wastewater and rainwater connections. Furthermore, drinking water distributors were installed for the drinking water supply of all 3 buildings, which were prefabricated in the Green Factory in a sustainable, resource-saving and CO2-neutral production environment. For special wastewater, 2 tanks with a capacity of 10,000 liters were installed. In addition, all sanitary facilities such as WCs, shower facilities and hand wash basins were installed and assembled.
The technical gas supply is provided from the recyclables yard, for which 5 gas lines were laid from the gas depot. For the regulation of the media helium, compressed air, carbon dioxide and nitrogen, custom-made media transfer stations were built for the customer in our prefabrication in the Green Factory.
For the plumbing trade, a total of approx. 700 fire protection works, including digital fire protection documentation, were carried out in-house. For the media trade, there were approx. 500 pieces.
