A few days ago, more than 100 entrepreneurs and decision-makers from the region gathered information on the subject of “Conserving resources and optimising energy costs” at the Green Factory of the Alois Müller Group in Ungerhausen. Interesting and innovative new ways for the future were shown.
The energy turnaround is one of the largest modernisation and investment projects worldwide. It is not a distant project for the future; we are right in the middle of it. After all, energy should play a central role in every company. Because where a lot is consumed, high costs are incurred. So it makes sense to take a closer look: Where is there potential for savings? What new technology pays off? How can a sector coupling, i.e. the interlinking of electricity, heat/cooling and electromobility, be optimally used and integrated?
In their 4 lectures the speakers presented models of photovoltaic systems on industrial roofs and innovative compressed air CHPs for companies. In addition, experiences for holistic solutions in the field of electromobility and charging infrastructures were discussed and an insight into renewable energies in the light of tax law was given. Furthermore, during the concluding tour of the Green Factory, visitors were able to experience “live” how a sustainable, CO2-neutral production environment can be implemented in practice.
