With effect from 1 May 2018, the Alois Müller Group took over Hedisa Haustechnik GmbH from Stuttgart and all 34 employees. The takeover took place within the framework of the succession plan for managing director Michael Müller. The Memmingen-based energy and building services specialist (heating, ventilation, sanitary, refrigeration and plant engineering), which already employs over 450 people at ten locations, is thus expanding its market area and gaining new expertise in the areas of sprinkling, irrigation and water technology. In the future, the current managing director of Hedisa, Martin Hahn, and Andreas Müller, managing director of the Müller Group, will jointly shape the future of Hedisa Haustechnik. The location in Stuttgart will remain and both companies will continue to operate on the market under their own name.
“When two successful companies join forces, it is naturally with the aim of further expanding their market position. For more than 20 years, Hedisa has been successfully active in sanitary plant engineering, heating construction and water technology. Together, we will create entirely new opportunities for growth, efficiency, quality and innovation. The takeover will enable us to provide even better support for our key accounts in the Stuttgart area and to open up new markets in a flourishing economic area,” explains Andreas Müller, Managing Director of the Müller Group.
In addition, more and more companies around Stuttgart are interested in the project of energy self-sufficient production developed by Müller. In accordance with the company’s guiding principle “Energy in Focus”, the focus of all Müller projects is on cost-effective and energy-efficient solutions. A new “Green Factory” of the Alois Müller Group is currently being built in Ungerhausen. For the new 14,000 sqm production and office building, a photovoltaic system of around 10,000 sqm with a total output of 1.1 MW will supply the green factory with 90 percent of the energy required for electricity, cooling, heat and compressed air. The last ten percent is covered by a combined heat and power plant. This will reduce energy costs and CO2 emissions to zero.
Customers in the Stuttgart area also benefit from the innovative production conditions in the “Green Factory”. “We can pre-assemble all components and assemblies there under top production conditions, which then only need to be installed on site at the customer’s premises. This high degree of prefabrication enables us to achieve a unique quality level from which our customers benefit. This allows projects to be implemented more efficiently than if every single component had to be manufactured on the construction site.”, explains Andreas Müller.
