COMPRESSED AIR THERMAL POWER STATION
The vision of the Hechinger group of companies was realised with the new construction of the approximately 15,000 sqm production plant. The entrepreneurial innovation and creativity should be reflected in a careful handling of resources and an efficient energy concept. With the deployment of the first compressed air-heat power plant in Southern Germany, a pioneering role with symbolic character was created! By means of exact coordination and dimensioning of the plant, a maximum of savings was achieved: no need to purchase electricity for compressed air generation and use the waste heat with the help of an absorption chiller for cooling. In combination with an attractive contracting model, this means: compressed air, heat and cooling at a fixed price!
Compressed air cogeneration
- 2 DWKWs with absorption chiller
- 17.5 m³/min Compressed air generation
- Natural gas input: 300 kW
- Usable waste heat with 90°C: 250 kW
- Cold generated from waste heat: 190 kW
Producer remaining energy center
- 890 kW cooling capacity
- 1,080 kW heat output
- 16,5 m³/min compressed air
